Staff was very friendly and very accommodating for a last minute decision to stay and unsure if I would need to stay another night due to a road closing and undetermined reopening. The staff tried to help me figure the status of the road closing keeping me from my home. Very kind”

”Room was the CUTEST! Bathroom was huge. One of the cleanest (like sparkling clean) places we have ever stayed. It is right on the beach with easy, easy beach access. Large beach area for hotel. Wonderful two-story, covered deck area. A two-minute walk to Swells'a brewery :). If we ever have the opportunity to return to the OBX, John Yancey is where we will stay. ”

”I paid almost double for a higher floor and got the 2nd floor. At 8am sharp there was construction going on right outside my balcony to repair the restaurant porch. A warning in this would have been nice. The appears to be no drainage and the parking lot sidewalk etc get swamped with the slightest of rain. Just another crappy tourist trap. ”

”Beach front room- would have been a nice view if they’d actually cleaned the windows. Dead cockroach greeted us upon entering the room. Not many toiletries provided, with promise of being able to pick some up from the office. Office however never staffed and toiletries not restocked. All in all, ok if paying around $60 per night (Elite room). ”

”Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. Upon arrival, Linda warmly greeted us and ensured our comfort before offering a dinner suggestion. Ocean Boulevard was a spot-on recommendation! The next morning, Greg shared local knowledge of the greater Outer Banks region. We followed several of his suggestions, resulting in an engaging and lovely day of exploration. The...

”Staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful in letting me check in early. Wonderful view of the ocean and beach which was important to me as I was hoping to find sea and shorebirds, which I did! I also got amazing views of the SpaceX Falcon 12 launch!! The room was clean and the bed suuuuuper comfy, giving me the best night's sleep in weeks and by far the best hotel sleep I've had in a very long time. They also have a hotel kitty named Boots who provided 5-star head bonks and scritch...
