Check in time was 3PM and we arrived just after that to find the cleaners were still in the house working. We had reservations at an early dinner in SF, then tix to a show. The cleaners told us to come back later. I immediately called the property manager MyVRHost and they told me they needed to check into this and would call me right back. They did not, so I called them 20 minutes later and got an answering service, who I told this was urgent. Again no call back, Finally at 4:20, I got a call. They claimed they emailed me at 3:47, but I was not looking for any emails because they promised to call me. By that time we had to cancel dinner, not eat and just get ready for the show. We were meeting a number of people who were very upset at the dinner cancellation (as were we).
Despite my urgent calls to MyVRHost, they were not very sympathetic. I insisted they should compensate us for their mismanagement. They said they would get back to me before our checkout time. They did not.
30 hours later they got back to me and proposed a 2% discount. Did they really this that was reasonable for such a major screw up on their part?
I gave them every opportunity to solve this issue before writing this review. They ignored me.
I would only recommend this property if the owner changes the management company.
