”The staff were above and beyond helpful with meals, dry cleaning, and recommendations. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious each day. The room was large, modern, clean, and facing away from the noise of the streets. The view was lovely and private. I think we had a much better stay than our travel companions who stayed at another hotel 4 minutes away. I would recommend Hotel Amigo to anyone travelling to Mumbai. Also: loveliest security officer who was always up for a chat upon our daily...

Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer.
Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally.
Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people.
There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street.

Sheets were stained, beds are OK if you are 4ft tall.
The main problem for us was with the frontdesk staff blasting music over their phone speaker until 3:30 AM, we had to politely ask them if they could use their earphones at least 6 times but they did not seem to see the problem....anyhow if you are looking for a hotel to stay in this area the comfort inn is slightly more expensive...

from me in UK , Hotel refused to accept this as they said
they were not dealing with Expedia for a while .
Manager Ahmed at the hotel refused to accept my proof of payment.. ended up with I hr argument and me having to pay again for the hotel stay at 5.00am in the morning.”
