I am highly sensitive to dust, and unfortunately, the room was not properly cleaned. While we appreciated the spaciousness of the room, the level of cleanliness was unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Additionally, the receptionist at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional—we were not even greeted with a simple hello or goodbye.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the pool. We specifically chose this hotel for its pool, as my son was looking forward to enjoying it before starting school. The pool was open, but the water was freezing cold because the heater was not working. This was especially frustrating since no one informed us about the issue beforehand. Transparency is the least we would expect from a hotel of this standard.
Overall, the service, cleanliness, and lack of communication were very disappointing. For the same price, we could have stayed at a 5-star property. Unfortunately, this experience ruined our vacation, and I will not be staying at this hotel again. Hilton’s reputation is truly at risk if these issues are not addressed.
