”This is a wonderful B&B. No complaints about it whatsoever. I do feel that anyone considering booking here needs to know the location is near the top of a hill. We walked from the train station...wow, quite the cardio workout! There are many steps from the driveway to the house. Just be aware.”

”It is fabulous being in the grounds of Leeds Castle as it is such a beautiful setting. The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest was an additional arm chair in our room so we could both sit in comfort. However that is a very minor point as overall the whole experience was perfect.”

”After reading comments here, got a bit scared. We came by car and picked this hotel because they supposed to have a parking. We'll, they are located in the middle of old town on the square, where you can't even go with a car! So that's very unfortunate that they lie about that. However, there's city parking not far away and we left our car there. There's no reception, you ask for your key in the restaurant. But the room itself is nice! It's spacious and have old chimney, I really like old style...

”Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect. The breakfast was excellent! ”

”My room was at the front, so there was traffic noise up until 11pm ish and then it started again at 5am ISH.”

”Excellent location for us, quiet - about 15 mins walk along to coast to major attractions. We were here for one night and thought it was great value, really nice guy looking after the place made us feel welcome, even with 2 screaming kids. Would come back for sure. ”

”The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again.”

”Lovely room with view. Manager Babs was very nice and cleaner found my lost hearing aid. Everything was lovely though there wasn’t a bedside light. But I had a torch so it was ok.”
