This was the stay we had been most looking forward to, and unfortunately, it was our biggest disappointment.
The apartment had a spider and an ant infestation. Basic supplies were lacking, including dish soap, complementary water in the fridge, garbage bags, and cleaning products. We also had to request additional towels and toilet paper.
The beach was clean, but the lounge chairs were underwhelming compared to the neighbouring chairs, and guests were charged an additional eight euros for chairs despite staying on the property. Drinks had to be paid for immediately rather than starting a tab, and the card machine frequently didn’t work, requiring trips up the stairs to pay.
While the location is fabulous, the hospitality was inconsistent. The female owner was very pleasant, super helpful, friendly, and accommodating, which we greatly appreciated. However, the elder gentleman was difficult to deal with, and our presence often seemed unwelcome. We often went next door to Peroulia Hotel for meals, where the staff was warm and engaging. The only time we saw the elder man smile was at checkout.
Overall, I would not recommend staying here.
