Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare: A newly refurbished, unique & stylish penthouse condo located on the top floor of a large villa on the Gulf of Cagliari in Margine Rosso, 5 mins drive to Poetto beach.

This stunning roof-top apartment has panoramic-wide sea and city views, exceptional balcony terrace with hot tub (April to Oct), open plan kitchen/living space with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area for 2 people.

After 3 successful seasons of managing our Oasi Sul Golfo condo, we are really pleased to launch our special top floor penthouse condo with a sea view:

Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare

A unique, newly fully refurbished 70m2 top floor Sardinian penthouse apartment located on the second floor rooftop of a family owned Mediterranean villa in Margine Rosso.

The villa's lower level also hosts our other highly rated condo, Oasi Sul Golfo.

The entire place has traditional Italian charisma and flair with modern decor, with unparalleled sea views. Combining the traditional Sardinian hand-painted majolica floor tiles with a contemporary update of modern furnishings.

All designed to give you a unique loft-style and rooftop experience from a traditional Sardinian villa, to make your holiday both special and relaxing.

We think our new condo is perfect for couples looking for a romantic Sardinian getaway and relaxing base from which to explore the beaches of the south coast and to enjoy the sites and the many wonderful restaurants and coffee bars of Cagliari and the surrounding area.

The condo is part of a family owned villa, located with its own separate entrance via a security door, small outdoor external stairs and a shared internal staircase which leads up to the apartment and access through a lockable door.

We recommend all travellers have a car available. A vehicle is essential for easy access to local supermarkets, bars & restaurants plus to take full advantage of exploring the awesome south-coast beaches, Cagliari and other areas of interest.

The Panoramic View

One of the defining features of Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare is the unparalleled, vast panoramic sea views of: Poetto beach about 1 mile away, the nature of salt & freshwater lakes, the 'Devil's Saddle' mountain range and both Cagliari & Quartu cities in the distance. On a clear sunny day, this spectacular view even stretches as far as to see the magnificent southern mountains of Sardinia where Pula and Chia are located.

The jaw-dropping view is accessible through bi-fold glass doors to an extensive outdoor rooftop balcony space, exclusively private to our guests. Perfect for morning coffee, al fresco dining or an evening aperitivo relaxing in the heated Lay-Z spa hot tub jacuzzi!

An extra advantage of our condo is the special view can also be seen inside, directly from both the king-size bed and also the kitchen area, benefitting from the view whilst cooking!

Extensive balcony terrace area surrounded by glass and metal balustrades with 2 large sunbeds, 2 large lounger bistrot chairs with coffee table. This outdoor space is perfect for a sum-rise breakfast, an early evening aperitivo, or a relaxing dinner - al fresco style as the sun sets.

Generous characteristic open plan, well-equipped individual kitchen made with traditional Sardinian tiles and in modern black and gold decor. Samsung four-pan induction hob, full Bompeni oven, Phillips kettle and toaster. Quality duali-system coffee maker that takes original Nespresso pods, unbranded pods and Eco-Pads (ESE). Free coffee pods on arrival.

Newly renovated bathroom with brand new shower including a large rain head above & a secondary hand-held shower head, wall-hung toilet with special tornado flush system and soft-close lid, wall-hung bidet and large sink with storage. The furnishings are luxurious in gold, green and black.

A small additional room for our guest convenience with 1 x freestanding open wardrobe in black metal iron. A clothes hanger is also available and this area provides extra space for luggage storage.

A Lay-Z Spa hot tub jacuzzi for two people complete with head rests and interchangeable LED lights, perfect for different spa moods.

Please note, the hot tub is available only between the months of April to end of October.

Space is suitable for 'working 'from home' on a laptop or tablet.

The verified Wi-fi speed is fast and extremely stable network via a fibre optic cable making WiFi ideal for guests who do need to work from home with a view during their stay or just use their laptop / iPad etc.

We absolutely recommend all travellers have a car available; this is important for getting around Sardinia from our Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare condo.

Located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighbourhood within a large family villa in the best area of Poetto, 5 minutes drive from Poetto Beach; in the vicinity of Margine Rosso - the Red Margin in Sant'Anastasia - part of Su Forti in Quartu Sant'Elena.

Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare is close to the Mediterranean sea; a 3 minute drive to our local beach in Margine Rosso and a 5 minute drive from the stunning main beach of Cagliari, Poetto. The location is an easy short drive to amenities like supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops etc.

Guest access

Our guests of Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare will have exclusive access to all areas of the apartment with a separate entrance via an external security door and access to the condo up through a shared internal staircase of the villa and then a lockable door. This allows our guests to enjoy privacy with easy individual access in and out of the villa.

The apartment is part of a family owned villa; we live on the lower floors. As hosts, we can easily be available for any questions or information if required. In addition, we can advise our guests on places to visit.

Moving Around Sardinia

For our Oasis Sul Golfo Vista Mare apartment / condo, we consider it essential you have your own vehicle for easy driving to local beaches (3 to 6 minutes drive away), supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants etc. Also, a vehicle will give you the freedom to explore the surrounding areas of Cagliari and the beautiful southeast and southwest coastal regions of Sardinia; there is a lot to see!

Within driving distance is the opportunity of exploring stunning coastal beaches, visiting historical Sardinian archaeological Nuraghe sites plus cultural sites or taking a stroll around the large scenic parks or cities in Cagliari and Quartu.

We can provide advice and highlights for mountain regions to walk, hike or bike, walking around in nature along fresh-water and salt lakes with Sardinia's famous flamingos and other birds.

Our Oasi Sul Golfo Vista Mare condo is in a strategic position, less than 5 minutes drive to Poetto Beach, located in the quality area of Margine Rosso. This area is close to the centre of Quartu Sant'Elena, the third largest city in Sardinia.

Cagliari, the capital city of Sardinia, is a 15-20 minute drive from the apartment, which means it is easy to reach key destinations.

Public transport stops are within a 200-metre radius of the apartment. You can take a bus into Cagliari (about a 40 minute bus journey) or to Poetto beach (about a 5 minute bus journey);

The main Cagliari-Elmas airport is a 20-25 minute drive;

In the local neighbourhood of Quartu Sant'Elena are all the services you need: supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, pizzerias and banks;

Le Vela, a large shopping centre with over 70 shops including the giant Carrefour and a multi-theatre cinema with restaurants, bowling alley and arcadesis is a 10-minute drive away from our apartment.

Tourist Tax for Quartu Sant'Elena

Officially starting from June 1, 2025, the Municipality of Quartu Sant'Elena has introduced the tourist tax: Imposta di Soggiorno. The tax cost is 1 euro per person per night, up to a maximum of 5 nights in the property and applies to private accommodations and 'non-hotel facilities' for tourist purposes.

This tax cost is not yet included in the guest booking on the VRBO charge breakdown and must be paid in cash during check-in. We will inform all guests of this prior to check-in.

The official regulation (Regolamento comunale per l'applicazione dell'imposta di soggiorno) explicitly states that adults over 70 and children / minors under 14 are exempt; this is a common exemption in Italian tourist taxes.
