”The hotel is very relaxing and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going with a view of the ocean as well. There’s even a pool that allows for some relaxation and escape from the sun. A perfect retreat, which still allows you to explore the village.”

”Everything was great but it was the staff that made it really special. I would stay again. The room was spotless everyday. It has terrific access to the beach. The only thing is it is such a beautiful location that it is pretty busy, that said we were always able to find a seat.”

”Fantastic stay at the lotus beach hotel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Snorkeling right is the beach coast was a nice bonus. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!! ”

”Great little hotel. Our room was very nice, large, good bathroom, and great water views from our balcony. The staff are amazing - so friendly. The location is good and easy two minute walk from the ferry. The pool was okay - We spent our days at the beach so didn’t really need a pool. I would stay here again for sure. ”

”Great location in a quieter area. Right on the water. Nice view and pool. Would be 5 stars but the room could have been a little cleaner. Everything was working well including great AC.”

”Really loud hotel, the main road is loud and with the lack of insulation, you can hear every single golf cart, scooter and music coming from the restaurants. Some restaurant was playing music until 2am and even with noice cancelling headphones, sleeping was difficult. Otherwise quite clean hotel, friendly staff who knows english. ”

”Room smelled a lot like cigarettes, specially curtains and bed. Also curtains were full of small holes (moths maybe) Stuff was also kind of rude. Wifi was good and location great, but I would say not worth of the money.”

”Staff was friendly is the only thing going for this hotel. Sheets were filthy Bathroom was covered in mold Walls were paper thin and one could hear everything going on in other rooms and I am not a light sleeper. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular-but this did not even meet basic 1star experience. ”

”Es una muy buena opción considerando que es un hostal, no se espera lujo pero si limpieza y lo cumplen así como el trato amable por parte del staff, un punto a mejorar sería la presión del agua, el wc tardaba en llenarse, pero en general me gusto, si volvería a hospedarme. La ubicación es excelente a unas cuadras de playa norte, cerca del mercado con opciones para desayunar y cenar tacos, hotdogs, marquesitas, etc”

”Basic accomodation with great location by the North beach. The beach is great and you will have walking distance to all restaurants and shops. The room is very simple and there were not even cups or glasses. Towels and bedlinen good and a small fridge great. I had to keep the curtains closed as there is a corridoor next to the window so everyone can see to the room if the curtain is open. But here, you will enjoy the beach and the food and the drinks, and do not stay in the room anyway.”

”Plaza Almedros is located right at the heart of Isla Mujeres' busiest restaurant street and the beautiful beach Playa Norte. So staying here get ready for the noise of the street or be the one making the noise in it. ;) And grab a beach towel provided by the hotel when going to the beach. Sunsets are awesome here! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed: a fridge, nice clean bathroom and shower with hot water and good pressure, a balcony, safety box and good beds. The staff was...

”Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for. One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush. ”
