Self Check in Option In the heart of Rome, in the famous Via del Governo Vecchio you will find this lovely apartment, located on the third floor (with no elevator) in a 18th century building.

The apartment is situated in Via del Governo Vecchio, just off Piazza Navona in the historical center.

The apartment can easily hosts up to 6 people. It is composed of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with table, chairs and TV, two bright bedrooms, a small and cosy relaxing studio with a sofa bed and a desk, ideal if you need to work during your stay in the eternal city, or if you love writing and reading.

The apartment has 1 bathroom with bath/shower and an outside toilet just like in the old days, with a W.C. and a small sink.

From the kitchen you can walk outside to a romantic little private terrace where to enjoy a morning breakfast or taste a lovely bottle of wine in the evening.

In the apartment you can enjoy some artistic creations of a Roman artist, her creations are synergies of matter, flow and dreams.

Her touch gives a proper originality to the apartment.

The Art Apartment is climatized and has free WI FI.

Perfect location to reach all the main attractions like the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Largo di Torre Argentina.

Check-in required meeting in person, which worked fine for us.The place is thee BEST location you could ask for.Beds, were fine, not overly comfy.Bathroom, kitchen, patio - all good.It is clean.Be prepared for a bunch of stairs (on 4th floor).We loved it, for a family of 5, would totally stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location for us with our three teens. There are a lot of stairs - for us this was not a problem, but something to be aware of if stairs are a problem for you. The bed situation was perfect as we had a total of four beds - two queen beds and two twin beds. We also enjoyed sitting on the patio. The only two negatives for me were 1) we were only given one set of keys, which was difficult when we didn’t all stay together and 2) the apartment was cold. We were told upon check in not to touch the thermostat or we would be fined. We were told if we needed the temperature adjusted to email and they adjust from a central location. When I emailed to ask for the temperature to be turned up, they told me to use the thermostat. Well I did not do so as there were signs in the apartment to absolutely not touch the thermostat or it can damage the system and we would be charged money for the damages, etc. However, all the positives for me about this apartment significantly outweighed the two negatives I stated above. They were great about communication, accommodated early check in, helped us arrange airport transfer, and we did really like the accommodations. I was overall very happy here and would recommend it.

We had an overall pleasant stay at this apartment. The location is excellent—within easy walking distance to major attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made getting around very convenient.The bedrooms were comfortable and provided a good place to rest after busy days exploring.One thing to note is that the area can be quite lively at night, so there is some noise. Additionally, the apartment doesn’t have a traditional living space for relaxing—there is a small table and bench in an interior room without windows, which may not suit guests looking for a cozy place to unwind.The building’s lobby is also used for trash storage, which was a bit unexpected upon arrival.Overall, this apartment could be a good fit for travelers who prioritize location and plan to spend most of their time out exploring the city.

The host was very attentive and helpful and the location was central to all of our sightseeing needs. The home itself is likely as large as you can get inside of the city of Rome, plenty of room to move about and the second bathroom is always welcomed with a family.

Perfect Location, Beautiful Apartment – We’ll Be Back!

We had an absolutely amazing experience staying here. The listing is detailed and accurate, but even that doesn’t quite capture how exceptional this place truly is. The apartment is located on a gorgeous cobblestone street, right in the heart of Rome, charming, lively, and just steps away from major attractions, great restaurants, a cozy coffee shop, and a small convenience store. There’s also a larger supermarket just around the corner, which was super handy.We honestly couldn’t believe we found this hidden gem in such a prime location. The only minor drawbacks were the lack of basic pantry staples (like salt or sugar) and no paper towels, which might just be a US vs. Europe difference. Also, be prepared for the walk-up, there are over 60 steps, so it could be challenging for those with small kids, lots of luggage, or mobility issues.That said, we were absolutely thrilled with our stay and would return in a heartbeat next time we’re in Rome.Valerio the property manager/rep was incredibly helpful during the check in process and with overall communication.

Location was great. Property needs updating especially windows. All the noise from street can be heard. Internet was not working until halfway through our stay. 3 flights of stairs were narrow and steep. No one available to help. Shops and restaurants nearby and easily accessed. Chose this place because we were 6 and it had 3 rooms but would choose another place in the future.

Pros and Cons Pros:1 BEST location. You can walk everywhere and I am in my mid 70’s. It is located halfway between the Vatican and the Colosseum. So a short walk to either. You are right in the neighborhood of the Piazza Navona which is absolutely beautiful. We were able to walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Sistine Chapelle and St Peter’s at the Vatican. Very doable in 2 days time. 2. Atmosphere: it is located on a narrow cobble stone street filled with outdoor eateries and a grocery store just a stone’s throw away. So many great quaint restaurants…literally just a few doors away in either direction. 3. The rental company: excellent! They are very reliable and great with communication. I was very nervous, hoping everything would go smoothly and it absolutely was perfect. We were even able to check in early. We were given entry info the day before arriving, and a representative met us at the door and answered all of our questions. 3. Cleanliness and space: The place was spotless and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Towels were stacked on each bed, with small soaps, and the hair dryer was great! A full size refrigerator and a spacious kitchen, a good washing machine and dishwasher!Cons. 1. The stairs. The place is located on the 4 th floor, so lots of stairs to climb 2. The main bathroom needs some updating, but ok.I would highly recommend this place as long as you can climb stairs! It’s worth the climb!

Wonderful adventure in Rome!

This apartment was a magnificent location for everything our family did in Rome—plenty of space for us, friendly hosts/communication. Our only challenge was mostly on me-required a lot of last minute communication which was difficult while we were traveling.

Short stay in Rome

We stayed here for 3 days with our three adult children. The location was perfect-many shops and restaurants just below and easy walking to all major attractions. Would recommend for a short stay. May have been hard for an extended stay as there was no comfortable central living space and was a bit noisy. But for a short stay it was excellent.
