The Little House on St. John, 1924

We offer a quiet and cozy stay in our little vintage house located in San Giovanni.
The house is conveniently located: the train station is just 10 minutes away and takes you to the airport. The metro is just 5 minutes away and takes you everywhere. The Colosseum is a 20–25-minute walk from the house

The Space
The villa is 101 years old; it was built in 1924, and the entire neighborhood features villas with similar characteristics, all in the Liberty style.
We have tried to preserve the original character of the place, so that you can still experience the authentic atmosphere of being in Rome.
You can enjoy our extensive book collection on Italian and Roman history, art history, and more.
The house features an open-concept living area with a large double bed and dining area, a kitchen equipped with induction cooktops and all the essentials, and a bathroom.
You’ll be able to use our fantastic rooftop and garden.
The location is very central yet peaceful at the same time.
• Transportation:
The house is extremely well connected to the city center by two metro lines and buses.
•If you arrive at Fiumicino Airport, you can take the FL1 train to Roma Tuscolana station, which is 600 meters from La Casetta.
•If you arrive at Ciampino Airport, you can take bus 520 and get off at the Tuscolana-Cinecittà stop; from there, take Metro Line A to Re di Roma, which is a 5-minute walk from La Casetta.
•If you arrive by train at Roma Termini station, take Metro Line A to Re di Roma. When you get off, follow the exit toward Largo Vercelli; at the end, take the exit toward Via Pinerolo, and you’ll reach La Casetta in a 5-minute walk.
To get around, there are two Metro lines, both within 500 meters of here (Re di Roma–Lodi)

You’ll have your own private entrance and access to the garden and terrace.

Please always let us know your arrival time in advance so we can arrange your check-in, which takes place between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. This is a private home, not a hotel.
