Check in was a challenge. I filled out the online forms prior to arrival and received a confirmation email, but I continued to receive emails saying I didn’t check in. I received an email from the company with a link that wouldn’t load. When I messaged the company through VRBO the day we were to check in, the person who responded was unable to give me more information about how to obtain the keys. Eventually, I was able to access the check in information when I took a screenshot of the link and accessed it through the screenshot. But I was communicating with the person through the VRBO messaging app for hours the day I arrived without any actual help from them. It was very stressful. When we finally got into the apartment, the floor was dirty and there was broken glass left in the dust pan when we arrived. We found more broken glass in the hallway a day later. One of the bedroom doors wouldn’t stay closed because the latch was missing. There was also some mold on the walls, mostly around the AC unit in the main living area. The view from the apartment was wonderful! It was in a great location. The sofa was quite comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the issues above detracted from the experience and overall rating.
