Amazing place

Simply the most amazing place! The house was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The views were stunning - worth getting up at sunrise to see the changing colours. Lovely host. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Hilltop House

The location of this house couldn’t be better if it tried. The views were out of this world. The hammock swing was my favorite spot to sit and look at the stars, while the front patio provided the perfect spot to catch the sunrise. Amenities a plenty and you will leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. 11/10!

Wonderful small family home

Very clean home with gorgeous sunrises. Perched along a small mountainside that provided some fun hikes up to the summit for incredible panoramic views. House was fully supplied with all cooking and bath needs. The wood stove was a nice touch in the evenings.

Amazing location: away, yet close to everything

Beautiful spot above the town, with all the amenities we could need! It was great to enjoy the hot tub, while it was snowing! A nice hike up the hill provided spectacular vistas of the town. Peace and quiet at the home, yet super close to the West JTNP gate, as well as other nearby towns. Trying to figure out the next time we can visit!!

one of the most beautiful homes

this house was absolutely gorgeous. the view was breathtaking. it was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. Christina is SO communicative. we had booked it last year and then COVID had spiked again. she let us rebook without any questions. she was responsive through text and just an overall amazing host. I truly can't wait to go back her property. It added to the magic of Joshua Tree.

Amazing place to stay!

My husband and I picked this property as it was located so close to the National Park and man it did not disappoint! This property was amazing, star gazing in the hot tube was by far our favorite part! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to stay again!

Great Escape

What a great place! We enjoyed the secluded vibe and cozy feel. Close to Joshua Tree. The hot tub outside was perfect for star gazing. We’ll definitely come back!

Perfect location!

This was a cute little house up on a hill with a great view of the area. It felt secluded and private but also close to the town and the National Park’s west entrance. We would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful views, quick drive to JTNP, very clean, well-stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry area. Would definitely recommend Roca Vista to anyone visiting the area!

Wanna get away?

We loved our stay. It was clean and very well appointed. The owner was excellent to communicate with. The Nat'l Park entrance was close by. We saw more wildlife from the porch of this place than inside the park (i. e. desert tortoise, jack rabbits, a pack of coyotes, lots of birds). FUN! FUN! FUN!

Beautiful Property!

We knew the property was going to be beautiful based on the listing and pictures, however pictures just don't do it justice. The house was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. It was perfect for our family of 4. The kids were able to go out and explore and I was able to watch them from one of the many patio areas. The location was also perfect! We entered the National Park each day (which was about a 15 minute drive) and also visited Pioneertown (15-20 min drive). We couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend!

Beautiful desert getaway

Beautiful and private location was perfect for our trip to Joshua Tree. Just a short drive to town or North or West Park entrance. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Hot tub was a plus.

Better than expected

The photos of this property do not do it justice. It’s been beautifully renovated and decorated with comfort and style in mind. The owners have gone the extra mile and provided touches such as leaving a pair of binoculars and great guidebooks for the area, and a welcome notebook filled with useful information about the area. The hot tub under the stars was amazing, especially after a rigorous hike. The kitchen is also very well equipped, and a pleasure to use. The only caveat is the surrounding properties are an entirely different caliber. The neighborhood itself is a bit rundown. However, this place is situated up on a hillside well removed from any of the surrounding houses, and I would not let this deter you. I’m a picky renter, and my companions and I loved this place!

Great location, all around greatness

The host made everything easy from the welcome email to the check out process. I have never been in a home with such a well stocked kitchen. (since COVID, we did not want to eat out, so that was a huge plus) The location was fabulous. Stargazing every night. Sunrise and sunset were spectecular. Oh and the hot tub was a wonderful treat.. Give it 5 stars all around!!!

Perfect for us!

Perfect place to stay!

This was easily our favorite vacation rental we have ever stayed in. It’s in an amazing location close to Joshua Tree National Park, but still private with beautiful views. The kitchen has everything you’ll need, the bed is comfortable, there’s plenty of great seating inside and out, and the hot tub is situated perfectly for stargazing. The house is well-decorated and cozy. We can’t wait to come back!

Well located, cleverly furnished and fully equipped home makes for a perfect relaxing getaway to Joshua Tree. The view is absolutely stunning ; this was a return visit for us and we’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing spot!!

The house was perfect for our Joshua Tree vacation. Great location just outside of town and very close to the park entrance. We felt extremely comfortable and were able to explore the area knowing we had a great place to call home each night. Will definitely return!!
