This was our first VRBO stay.
We live in Europe and travel extensively using other services.
The house was clean but very basic.
There was no welcome manual and no instructions for the WiFi, Television, or Appliances.
We had trouble with the washing machine as the controls were locked and we couldn’t ever get the washer to work and thus could not do laundry for our 4 night stay.
The listing says sleeps 10 but was under equipped for a large family of 7.
We ended up having to buy linens and blankets as the house was lacking enough to use on the down stairs beds. The beds in the living area down stairs are the equivalent of sleeping on a carpeted floor and are too short for teens/adults.
The kitchen offers very little in the way of pots, pans, utensils, and table service. What is there seemed like a hodgepodge from a second hand store.
The house is conveniently located, and has a nice fenced yard.
The listing does not mention that the house has a smaller house on the property that is occupied.
The occupants are nice and friendly, but this can be a concern for families with small children when there is no advanced notice that the yard is a shared space.
A bit more effort could go a very long way especially for the price.
