”Super clean bathroom and sleeping area. The exterior is a throwback to the 60s motorcourt era but that hides a modern, comfortable room. The manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends.”

The staff members were friendly and helpful. The restaurants were delicious, especially the outdoor pizza oven and bar.

”We had a great experience at Budget Host Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, which we truly appreciated. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, which was perfect for traveling with our 15-month-old. It provided much-needed extra space for naps and early bedtimes.
The location is ideal, being close to downtown and within walking distance of Shepler's Ferry. This made getting to Mackinac Island super convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely stay here again!”

We did not use the pool, but our friends did and it was super cloudy, which looked gross, but could have been from an over abundance of chemicals? ”The only problem is the location of the property. Don't get me wrong.. You was outstanding and fabulous. The time it takes to get anywhere is 40minutes to an hour. If we were bikers and they had electric bikes then it's perfect. PLAN well ahead to go to dinner, shop in town or do anything outside of the resort. This place was truly special but the moving around quickly was the only issue. I would recommend and also I would stay here again and again. ”
”Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about.
