Lovely House
This was a very short stay to visit a some friends in our old hometown. The house was quite lovely. Since most of our time was visiting, we did not fully immerse ourselves into the house...meaning we cooked No meals; but we did warm up a few leftovers and, of course, we had our share of evening snacks. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. With our group of ten, we were very comfortable in the house. There was lots of room to spread out when one needed some quiet time. As one might imagine, the kitchen and dining table were our usual gathering location either just before breakfast to review the plan for the day or in the evening to relive the memories of our youth. The house is in a lovely setting. A couple of folks took time for a short walk to Friends University. The house is conveniently located to US highway 54 and you can get around easily. Wichita is not that large and since I lived in Wichita in my youth, then I knew exactly where to go. All of us now live in significantly larger cities and the running joke is that 'it is only 6 minutes away' regardless of where you are going :) I recommend this house and will check availability the next time we are in Wichita.

Fantastic!
Loved our stay! The location was great, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and there was plenty of parking. House is beautifully updated with everything we needed. Plenty of room for the whole family, and the kids loved having extra room in the basement. The porch is perfect for Morning coffee. Great communication from the hosts.

Family get together in Wichita
This property was perfect for our extended family to gather from out of town to spend time together in Wichita and celebrate the lives and memories of two of our relatives. We were able to share meals together and spend time visiting in a relaxed setting. The property was as described and we appreciated the back yard and grill area. Highly recommended for a group.

Together but with a little separation
Our 3-generation family booked the entire house for our September weekend visit and had a fabulous time. Alex was super-helpful, checking in to make sure all was well and bringing extra towels, even! The home has been beautifully updated, and my parents stayed in the downstairs unit for a little separation from the rest of us. We'd be happy to stay here again and highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful historic home in a quintessential historic neighbor close to Friends University. Great front with swing. Beautiful back area with tables, lighting and gas fire pit. The home is a beautiful renovated style. Comfortable and well furnished with everything needed for a great stay!

Family Get Together
The Delano Deluxe worked out wonderfully for our family get-together. We were able to bring together our young adult children (ages 20 - 27) and a grandbaby, with plenty of space for everyone. The common rooms were spacious with a large TV for watching "the game" together. Communication from the host was prompt and she made sure a high chair was available for the baby. We plan to visit again!

Truly outstanding!
Alex thought of every little detail that you would need. Even had a hand mirror to check the back of my hair. May sound insignificant but hopefully a good example of the attention to detail. All the big things are there too! We will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Wichita.

Beautiful home
Easy to find, check in was fast & painless. Home has been beautifully remodeled. We have family in Rose Hill, and location was right between the family home and the reception location. Wedding for a Niece over the weekend. Provided a relaxed time for the few dinners we were able to have in the evenings. Kitchen had all the amenities needed for breakfast prep. Beds were very comfortable for all.. Neighborhood seemed safe and quiet in the evenings. Morning walks through the college campus nearby provided the exercise needed. 5 stars for everything,

Step back in time.

Great Belated Family Weekend in Wichita

Son at Wichita college...family came to spend holiday there. Home is fantastic; host is professional and excellent in all phases; location is central yet private. All quality amenities and modernized/historic home. Beds are great; fire pit is a treat and gas grill is high end. Highly recommend...any gathering.

Family fall at the Farmhouse
My family from Alaska and myself stayed for few nights while in Wichita and were overjoyed with this VBRO. The layout and charm in this house made this farmhouse beautifully restored. Also amenities was above and beyond our expectations. From the soft fluffy towels to everything you could need in a kitchen to host your family visiting with style. Everyone from our group kept saying this was the perfect house for our stay. Don’t pass this one up !

House was absolutely gorgeous inside and I’m sure outside but we just stayed in. Beautiful wood floors and woodwork throughout the house. Luxurious showers. Owner was easy to communicate with and responded to every message in a timely fashion. Will definitely bookmark this property for any return trips!!
