”Overall property and service was excellent, great initiative to offer a $10 credit per day if you don’t require your room made up/cleaned daily. Particular mention to Daydream’s maintenance manager Kara who went above and beyond to help us and make us welcome when some tree trimming work impeded some paths. She was wonderful! Would definitely return to this resort. ”

”The only thing that was wrong was kids stuff all on ce ment path to room and beeping on a walking stick was a problem and than having to walk around there were too many tree roots. I really like the resort and am thinking off coming back but would like a room in block 1 to 14 would be nice ”

”Everything was walking distance. Great dining places nearby. You can stay and enjoy the property and beach or you can travel to explore more.”

”Spider webs in the room did not make us feel very welcome. The staff was very self-esteem and arrogant. Wi-fi can only be used in the lobby. ”

”It was first time I’m in a hotel which charges extra for emptying thrashbins in room. Or cleaning dishes. Also they didn’t book an airport transport for us as they promised in email, and the reception didn’t seem to care. Also room’s floor was sticky. Rooms were up in steep hill. The pool was nice.”

”Olimme neljä yötä perillä. Yksi päivä satoi vettä täysillä. Yritimme snorklata rannasta, mutta eipä silloin näkynyt mitään kiintoisaa. Vasta veneretkellä, joka maksoi 100AUD nähtiin jotain mielenkiintoista. Riutta on kuitenkin ylimainostettu. Muualla maailmassa näkee parempia koralleja ja kaloja.”

”I have stayed there 2 times before the room was fined dirty cups in the cupboard there were seeds from a lemon or orange on the bench so hadn't been cleaned very well the shower curtains need replacing bed was comfortable the TV didnt work at all and no internet connection available ”

”Was so family friendly. Daughter loved pool. Restaurants book out days in advance. Best to book ahead before your stay. Lovely staff and great location as it’s close to town ”

”Very close to four mile beach, lovely location in Port Douglas. Excellent swimming pool and nice, good sized room. Breakfast was great in the morning with a good amount of options and went on until 10.30am. Sound proofing was poor and could hear guests in the corridors and the rooms next door. Hot tub on balcony was nice but did not work very well. ”

”Room was big and clean. It's quite far from the main mission beach. The restaurants in the resort was soooo good! ”

”Great room. Depending on what room you have it could get a little noisy if you have noisy neighbors since some have 3~4 rooms sharing walls. The Tide Resturants is amazing one of the best food we have had. We got the special, crispy salmon and chefs bowl with barramundi. So good so we had it again the next night. Non of the other Resturants open for dinner looked that great. ”

Noin viikko ennen saapumistamme esitimme toiveen sen saamisesta ylimmästä kerroksesta lukemaamme kritiikkiin viitaten. Hotelliin tullessamme meille tarjottiin sviitti keskikerroksesta. Päähuoneisto keittiöineen ja näköaloineen vastasi odotuksiamme, mutta erillinen toinen makuuhuone ei. Se haisi voimakkaasti homeelle emmekä voineet sitä sen johdosta hyväksyä. Henkilökunta ei...
