”What a little gem of a find. Absolutely beautiful cottage right in the woods and yet a 5 min drive to town. Jack is a wealth of knowledge and there is bird and possum feeding at certain times. There are beautiful parrots, a goose, chickens and a free range rabbit. Kids would love this place and there is a play area for the littlies. ”Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. ”Very good location for a pit stop on a Great Ocean Road drive with only a short drive to many of the highlights. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped having also some basic spices, canola oil etc. Although we stayed at one of the suites, the place had a nice cottage-like feel to it, and the surroundings really beautiful with all the flowers, the windmill and the country-side around it.”

We were given a larger room than we had booked, which was really lovely. It was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. ”We stayed here for one night at the weekend with my baby girl, husband and 2 couple friends. The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever.”

”It is located walking distance (10-15 min) from major attractions, plenty of restaurants in the area. Bedrooms (2) are in the second floor by stairs. The property is in an historical heritage building, so layout and space distribution is a little unusual, which adds to the charm. The host is next door and readily available if needed ( we did not have any issues with the property).”

”Absolutely Perfect! The location was amazing with a view to die for. The range of blues in the ocean from aqua to deep blue were captivating. Photos do not do the view justice. Absolute beach front and easy walk down to the beach and water. The veranda was protected from the wind with mid morning to afternoon sun & side deck captured the morning sun.
