”Very good. Might have been useful to explain no lift. Some might struggle to get to 2nd floor. I was there for a hospital appointment but luckily coped last night. (May not have done another day). ”The hotel is very 2024. Pros: The room was accommodating and The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful. The leisure was impressive. The gave us towels and wrist bands for lockers they had a dryer machine for clothes They had a a dyson hair dryer and straighter avaliable. The floors were dried straight away by staff. ”Very far away from town centre, no shops around, supermarkets a bit far away. No shower, and not even plug on the bath, just an old towel. Expensive, 50 per day, for that price you can book at Travellodge with toilet inside the room and in conditions, plus maybe breakfast included. The only good thing was ability to cook”

”This is an older building with lots of character. The bedroom was huge with lots of space and a view over the garden. The bed was comfy, although the mattress did seem to sag in the middle a little. The bathroom was nicely decorated, but I was a little surprised their wasn't any shampoo/conditioner in addition to the shower gel. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We did have a drink from the bar after hours, which was allowed but the chap serving us didn't really have a clue so...

”Characterful property in open countryside with good free parking. A car is needed for getting about as no immediate public transport (40 minute walk to nearest bus stop). Set in lovely grounds with seating outside for warmer days and plenty inside when it isn't so nice. Large room with bath and shower though minmal sockets and not near bed. Good for relaxing and not being distracted by phones. There was an event on the evening we stayed but music stopped by 11pm. Great for a relaxing break. ”
