Hey guys I like animals, and they’re welcome but because some guests have allergies we ask for animals to be kept in garage and or kitchen areas.

Congratulations Illinois, Marijuana is Legal and can be smoked in garage only. Tobacco is strictly prohibited anywhere in house $250 fine per room.

We cover 30min of cleaning items brought or moved by guests “trash not in cans, moved furniture, tape on walls” $100 per 30min of extra cleaning.

Never had to leave!

It stormed our entire stay, but with an indoor pool and plenty of space inside we had plenty of things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit

Family get-together

Greatly enjoyed the property for our holiday get together for family from different directions. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and game room (also the sound system)!One mention would be that the kitchen could use new cooking items, particularly pans and cookie sheets. The bedrooms and bathrooms were quite satisfactory. Overall, it was a great place for our family! Thank you

Fun Family Trip

Great place for a family gathering and plenty for all to do - swimming, hot tub, bon fires. and more. Only 25 minutes from Springfield. Our host was very helpful as well.

Happy to have stayed here

This is one of the coolest rentals I could find in the area. The barn is exactly how it looks in the pictures, it's a super fun place to hang with friends. Check-in was as easy as it can get, and the host was responsive to our messages. If you manage to get a good price on this place you will not be disappointed! We'd love to come back in the future.

Great for groups!!

My friends and i stayed for the weekend. The size of my group was 15 people. The facility was very spacious. We enjoyed the pool and the hammock swing room a lot. The big screen on the second floor was perfect for video games. The sound system was great. The host, Sean, was very responsive and attentive. My group loved the space. We will definitely be returning to this property!!

Who Knew?

I never thought it could be as wonderful as it actually was. There will be crickets due to being in the country, but nothing overwhelming. The pictures don’t do it justice. I’ll definitely be back. Have all your groceries, drink, and supplies with you, when you come because you’ll have a long drive to Walmart. Lol

Overall amazing!

This place is great for all ages! We had children as young as 1 yr old to adults 50 years old and we all had a blast! Also a plus is that we were able to bring along our furbabies. We had two German shepherds a lab and a chihuahua and they all enjoyed the freedom as well. The host was so attentive and accommodating , he is super nice if I could rate more stars I would. The closest stores in the area are about 30 ish minutes away depending on traffic so definitely recommend bringing all essentials. The only thing I do have to mention is to bring your own pots and pans and large cooking spoons because the ones there are a little on the older side. Also being as you’re not in the city there are a lot of beetles/bugs so just keep that in mind. Honestly we all had so much fun we are definitely thinking about returning some day.

Cousin reunion

I was a little disappointed when I drove up to see where I was staying. It didn't have a good curb appeal. I feel like I would have been more impressed if the weeds around the concrete patio would have been trimmed and fresh flowers, instead of faded silk flowers, were in the flowerpots by the door. The place looked clean, but several areas around the pool had peeling paint. Also, several drawers in the kitchen had the fronts off of the cabinet drawers. Another helpful hint would be to have written instructions on how each room lights worked. Overall, it was a nice place, but for what we paid per night I thought some of the details I listed should have been taken care of.

This place is amazing !!

I could not believe how great this place was! We were not so sure what we were walking into. Once we opened the door it was more then we expected. The place is HUGE ! There are so many rooms and so much space we were shocked. 8 hammocks to swing on hot tub. Tvs everywhere. So many beds and couches Blue tooth speakers. Though out the entire downstairs. And plenty of room to dance around. Big indoor pool. With seating a bathroom with shower by the pool . Pool toys, 3 refrigerators to store food and drinks. A fire pit. And grill with lots of seating outside as well. I have stayed in many places. But I have never stayed in anything like this before. We loved it. The only down fall is the pots and pans need to be upgraded to new ones and there were no steak knives for the steaks we cooked on the grill. So u might want to bring your own. Other then that this place is perfect for any occasion. And the host is awesome too. We all gave this a five star rating and can’t wait to come back !

Fun, Different, and More Than Anything... One of a kind

We stayed there for a weekend for a teen birthday overnight. First off don't let the first impression fool you. This is an entire property that someone has purchased and is converting into a really one of a kind weekend stay. Yes the driveway needs some work.Yes the sidewalks are old. From the outside you might wonder what you've gotten yourself into. But you got to trust me on this.... Once you're inside this place is really cool and interesting. A completely modern kitchen that is huge. An astroturf playroom with disco lights swinging chairs, putt putt, ping pong table and a hot tub. There's a full size indoor pool with a shallow and deep end. and four to five bedrooms that will allow any sleeping combination you want. Every bedroom has at least one TV. There's a huge projection screen room for movies. Nearly all of the bedrooms have a completely separate sitting area. One has a triple-decker queen bunk bed with a slide attached. True Story. Now if you're somebody who bases your experience on whether the towels, bedspreads. and furniture matches and there's uniformity throughout the property.... this ain't for you. But the property owners are continually adding and modifying to it. The first thing you're going to want to do for guests to arrive later is take them on a tour. Every room has a separate heating and cooling system. when we stayed it was in the teens and it took just a little bit but everything heated fine. Owners were helpful and responsive.

I wish I could give a better review..

I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately our experience was overall disappointing. We booked the property for my 10 year old daughters birthday for family and friends. I looked all around our area specifically for a house with an indoor pool and finally found this one 1.5 hours away. 5 minutes after our scheduled check-in time, we received a message from the Property Manager stating the pool was cloudy from the previous renters but still safe to swim in. He offered a late check out and fireworks to make up for it. My sister arrived first and immediately texted me that the pool looked gross, and she refused to swim in it. None of the adults would get into the pool our whole rental period. The kids commented on the look of the pool but still very much enjoyed swimming. After the kids swam, we learned there was no hot water in any bathtubs/showers. The kids were forced to take freezing cold showers due to swimming, but the adults chose not to shower the whole weekend because of it. The house had a lot of really cool lighting, but no smoke or fire alarms. It seemed like a basic safety standard and made me very uncomfortable, especially when it was time to sleep. The house wasn’t as clean or private as we would’ve liked, but it was the other items that really impacted our experience. We did not use the late checkout but took the fireworks home. The kids had fun, but I assume the price of this house was largely due to the pool. Overall it wasn’t worth it for us.

Good place for multiple families

We met up with another family here and the kids had a great time. Overall, six kids ages 3-15 and four adults. The indoor pool was big and heated, and we really enjoyed the Bluetooth speakers. We also liked the hot tub, ping pong table and the big kitchen. A perfect time especially when cold weather kept us indoors. The only downside was lack of a dishwasher.

Bachelorette

Absolutely the best place for something like a bachelorette party. We had a combined groomsmen and bridesmaids bachelorette party with my close friends and family and used the two separate bunk rooms to separate girls vs guys. There are some aspects of our rental that seemed unfinished or needed tune up, like issues with humidity in some of the rooms, hot tub placement, or the pool stair railing needing repaired. But the sheer amount of work put into communication with us, the immense comfort and limitless amenities the space provides, and the uniqueness of the locale really works to satisfy every need. Best. Bachelorette. Party. Ever.

Will definitely be back

We had a great time! Sean was quick to respond to all questions. The house was as described, the pool was perfect (best part no certain hours), beds were comfy, I really don't have any complaints EXCEPT it's really in the middle of no where so go prepared or ready to drive 20+ mins to the closest store. There is a gas station 5 miles down the road though. The pictures don't do this place justice. Already planning our next trip there in sept
