Not enough staff for a good service

Negative things; no luggage service when check-in, slow service in the lobby bar and in the reception (it took 40 minutes to do the check-out), confusion with the spa treatments(the manicure we had book in advance was done in the barber shop and nobody there spoke any english and the price was more expensive than in the spa list. When asking more spa services nothing was available as they said that they did not have any staff for that)
Breakfast; rude personal and broken tables. The coffee was not good.
Concierge ; when asking about the taxi service to the airport, no service available. Even when I asked about the price to the Airport I got the answer 80 lira and the night before the doorman told me max 70 lira. When I mentioned about that the concierge almost shouted to me that he knows what he is doing.
Location; was bad with lot of construction works going on and the streets were in bad condition. Only few restaurants nearby.

Lisätty 3.12.2015 Ebookersn sivustollaFancy and modern hotel with the best service. I sent an email before our visit and told that it is a surprise birthday gift for my girlfriend so there were a birthday cake and a bottle of sparkling wine in the room waiting for us. 10/10 experience!!

Tämä oli toinen vierailu kyseisessä hotellissa. Se on valmistunut pari vuotta sitten. 820 huonetta, suurin Istanbulissa. Kaipaisin useampia ravintoloita, vain yksi! Aamiaisella hyvä valikoima Hiltonin tyyliin mutta tunnelma muistuttaa ruotsinlaivan aamiais kaaosta. Executive lounge yläkerrassa on tyylikäs, tilava ja runsas sorttinen, mutta muistuttaa perheravintolaa. (joissain on K12-kielto iltaisin loungeen, ei täällä!) Hiltonilla usein alennustarjouksia, jolloin hotelli on kyllä hintansa väärtti.
