”Central location, upstairs from the pub. Very quiet at night, rooms were generous and the bathroom exceptional. Linen and bedding was of a very high standard. Breakfast offered, £15pp . Dog friendly. Value for money, our expectations were exceeded on every level Highly recommended.”

”We had a fabulous 3 night mid-week stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were attentive and really friendly and the food in the restaurant was exquisite. We had intended to find other places to eat during our stay but the food was so good here there was absolutely no point. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

”Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla korkealla kalliolla meren rannassa viehättävässä Shanklinin kylässä. Hotellista portaat suoraan alas rannalle, Shanklinin vanhan kylän puoli kivenheiton päässä. Merenpuoleisista huoneista on upea näköala. Hotellissa on mukiinmenevät sisä- ja ulkouima-altaat, poreallas ja minigolf sekä todella nätti puutarha, jossa kioskikahvio. Huoneet eivät ole mitenkään erityisen viihtyisät - kannattaa ehdottomasti ottaa näköalahuone tai premium näköalahuone, jos tässä...

"Sisäilma huono. Kahdesta huoneestamme toisessa erittäin huono sisäilma ja katossa jotain mustaa. Myös toisessa huoneessa (ja koko talossa) huono sisäilma. Spa puolelle meno ulkokautta. Muutoin hienon näköinen rakennus niin ulkoa, kuin sisältä."

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
