”Situated in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and the ocean, the cottage offered a perfect balance of comfort, privacy and convenience. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed being able to read, write, and bird watch on the private balcony that overlooks a tranquil garden. On-street parking was readily available anytime of day and check-in/check-out was easy as pie. Many thanks to Mark and Marty for being excellent hosts! Hope to see you again...

”This vacation rental is well run by customer-focused staff who keep in touch and respond to questions and needs. We found the apartment very clean and well decorated. It had a nice balance of common area - living room, kitchen, and bath - and 2 cozy private bedrooms. The location was great for quick access to both the beach and the bay.”

”The rental started with being warmly greeted by Mary the property. She could not be more accommodating. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect spot and convenient to great pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. Away from the noise of the boardwalk we found this to be the perfect spot. This house had everything needed to be fully functional as if home. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at such a wonderful location.”

”This was the perfect location for our family. The teens could come & go as they please since we were just one house off the boardwalk. House was fantastic too. Nothing fancy but just what we needed. Plenty of room for our family to hang out in the evening & watch movies. We had a couple minor issues but Mike was extremely helpful & quick to communicate. We will most definitely be booking again.”

”We did a multi-generational family vacation and stayed here together. It was perfect! Having an en-suite for each bedroom was really convenient and it was nice to have floor for those who still napped separated from where folks were hanging out. I cannot express enough how beautiful this home and gardens are, nor how spacious this place feels while staying cozy. Strongly recommend!”

”We needed a place for a nice and relaxing rest for one night and this place was just that. We enjoyed the welcome margaritas in the quaint backyard upon arrival. It felt private which we appreciated. There were decent restaurants and coffee shops walking distance and the beach was a quick easy walk as well. Thanks for a nice stay!”

”Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation.”

”We stayed here for the night before and the night of our wedding. House was amazing. Everyone said they felt like they were at Disneyland!! Pool was unbelievable. My kids got to enjoy it the first night and I could barely get them out! April was amazing. Easy to reach and so kind when the boys got a little too loud in the jacuzzi. We will definitely be back!”

”Owners communicated all the important information very well! The property was clean and ready early! She gave great recommendations of places to eat as well as places to go see! Loved the games they had, even though we brought some to play. Only “complaint” we would even have, which is NOT a complaint at all is it would be nice if there was more light in the living room. We will definitely stay here again!!!”

”Everything about our stay was perfect. The location. The rooms, the kitchen, the view! It was just a beautiful home. The bunk beds allowed for my 3 teens to share a room but not share a bed. The closeness to the beach allowed for easy access back and forth to the beach. Loved that it was so close to all the restaurants and shops. I would stay here again f we came back to san diego. The owner has a great manual for any questions/ recommendations for places to go. But really I would just recommend...

”The condo was very clean and well kept. We stayed here last week, my family and two others. 4 children in total ages 1-4. It worked well for us. Would definitely stay here again. Parking is a big plus even though one of the spaces is a little tight. Makaela was awesome and always very responsive to communications when I reached out to her.”
