”Bring multiple bottles of bug spray, the mosquitoes are on steroids. My poor wife has to have over 100 bites on each one of her legs. She can’t sleep at night bc she is so itchy, I wish somebody would’ve told me before we went here how bad the mosquitoes are, the other part I did not like is the beach was closed the entire nine days we were here. we went on an excursion and from talking to other people their beaches were open. I don’t understand why ours was closed. You fly all this way to come...

Our stay was all over excellent: hotel location, stuff and breakfast. We got help from reception to rent a car. Everything went fluently. There are two different, but lovely beaches near by: Sosua beach has crystal clear water and services, Alicia beach is more local and without services, it is calmer. We can very easily recommend this hotel for everyone who stays in Puerto Plata or Sosua area.
