”Great little one night getaway. We stayed in the Mimosa cabin so cute and clean. We walked past the waterfall to the pool and was almost disappointed as the pool looked void of any water. Nope the pool was that clean the water was so clear ! Inn is close to everything. ”

”The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The inner courtyard adds a great touch with an outdoor dining area. The room was clean, small. The whole building smells of old wood, but you get used to it. It is a bit like staying in a museum. Great location, walking distance to downtown. We would stay again.”

”On the plus side, the owners of the property were very nice and it was located right by the river. It was also a short drive to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. ”This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. ”

”Beautiful boarding house on the National Registry. Highly recommend staying here. Delicious breakfast, made to order, daily. Popular restaurant by night. My husband said the trout was the best he has ever had, anywhere. Walk to town or to Tomahawk Lake Town is a popular shopping destination 20 minutes to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge museum and parkway. ”This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend.”
