”We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mio while staying at this Cozy Cabin! It is cozy indeed and quite comfortable. The hosts have been thoughtful in providing equipment and amenities that can be used as the weather allows. We stayed during a beautiful snowy time. I look forward to coming back in warm weather to enjoy what the Ausable River has to offer.”

”We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore.”

”My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this site. The view of Lake Huron was beautiful. The lake is RIGHT THERE! No steep steps required to get to the water. The house interior has a rustic homey vibe that we just loved. It reminded us of my parents' home. The house was very clean and comfortable. While we were there, we saw a large eagle in a nearby tree. It was visible from the front window. It was perched in a nearby tree for 20 minutes and then flew off. We also met the next-door...
