”I am so glad we found this place. It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. But the best part was its staff. Warm, genuine. I felt cared about by every staff member I interacted with. Kudos.”

Everything in Mallaig is close , walking distance so didn’t need to drive to get to restaurants . Hotel sits on the hill overlooking the water . Staff friendly easy check in and check out . ”

”Extremely noisy so you will hear every sound from corridor or other rooms. Full of pensioners and sleeping is hard after 5am when they start to take showers. The room was super small (about 6 m2) and stuffy. This hotel was stylish perhaps in 70's.”
