”I stayed alone at the villa in zanzibar in a lovely room. I had an excellent stay! The setting is magnificent and so peaceful. My room, spacious with a huge bathroom, overlooked the garden and the ocean. The sun sets in front of the room and the pool, which is remarkable. The common areas are large and spacious, so you can enjoy the place without disturbing each other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is very attentive to special requests.I look forward to returning. ”

”Die Hotelanlage ist durch den wunderbaren Garten sehr grün und viele Naturgeräusche laden zur Entspannung ein. Meinen Cocktail genoss ich am Pool und das köstliche Essen wurde von sehr netten Angestellten serviert. Sowieso war das Team sehr hilfreich für die Beantwortung meiner Fragen bezüglich meiner Weiterreise. Der Strand ist einfach in weniger als 5 Minuten erreichbar. ”

”I loved the outdoor area for made for serious chilling by the pool. The pool is nice too, not too cold water. The restaurant is good, not super but good enough and it's safe to eat here. The menu is quite varied but after 3-4 days it gets a bit boring. They do provide daily specials though. The room is simple but in good size. Shower ok. Bed is comfortable but the sheets really need to be changed for new ones. Service is good, not especially friendly or attentive but not rude either.”

”One of my worst hotel experiences. The air conditioning in the room did not work and there is no overnight staff to contact. It was 34 degrees. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). When an extra towel was requested (for the second person in the room - the room had 2 beds) the staff said none were available as they needed to do laundry. ”Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back.
