”The freezer in the fridge needed to be defrosted!!!! Maybe the fridge temp needs to be reset. Did not like the coffee that came out of the coffee machine in the room !!! Otherwise I had a great stay at Heathman lodge !!!! Thank you ”

”Great property and half the rooms have a view of the Columbia River close up. Shopping is across the freeway but only 3 minutes away in Hood River. White Salmon on the Washington side is just across the bridge and Trout Lane and Mt. Adam’s is a short drive away. ”

”We enjoyed the historic character of the building. The old bathroom mirror was designed for much taller people, but these minor quirks didn’t bother us. Be prepared to park on the street. Street parking is free in the evening, but will start up at 8 am. Beds were comfortable. We stayed midweek in May and didn’t experience any problems with noise.”

”We loved The Alexander quaint B&B. The grounds were beautiful with the pond and outdoor seating. Our day was very relaxing with the comfy beds, quiet rooms, and hospitality of Summer, the manager. You are super close to the entrance to Mt Rainier! We look toward to returning!”
