Excellent accommodation in Old Nuremberg. Wonderful location surrounded by shops, cafes and bars. Staff were friendly, room was clean, tidy and spacious. Would recommend.

The hotel has a serious staffing problem - reception closed at 1pm the day of our arrival and 2pm when we departed. This was a problem; we needed a place to leave our luggage until our train at 6pm and quite reasonably expected to do so at our hotel, but we were denied. Otherwise, Gideon is a first-rate hotel, which makes the service failure really glaring and troublesome.

Great hotel. Came In late at night after hours and had easy instructions on how to get our key from the safe. Great rooms, clean . Only problem was we weren’t able to stay another night .

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer selbst hatte einen Balkon zum Hof,welcher für den Zimmernachbarn ebenfalls zugänglich war. Das war etwas seltsam. Es fehlte ein zweiter Nachtschrank, sowie das Telefon zur Rezeption. Die Ablage in der Dusche sollte gewartet werden. Die Lage ist wirklich top! Im Großen und Ganzen ein guter Aufenthalt mit kleinen Mängeln. Das Frühstück im Dachgeschoss war super.

Brilliant location - walkable to main Xmas markets, train station, the Castle and lots of shopping/food, staff were lovely, room was a good size and overlooked one of the lovely streets with Christmas decos. Really happy with this hotel and would stay here again for sure.

This property is convenient and walking distance to Christmas markets, local shopping, the castle and many cathedrals. The room was pleasant but there was no internet access. The windows open to the square, making it nice to sit, sip and watch the activity in the square. Keep in mind, there is no refrigerator in the room.

This was a last minute reservation and we’re so happy we found this place! Great location with lots of dining and shopping options, near the Christmas market, parking was nearby, decent and clean room and staff was friendly! Would definitely stay again!

Good location, very basic facilities.
The location is good, a bit noisy at night from the people in the Main Street. We had a corner room and the wifi doesn’t work well. We had to stand in the door way. The pillows were too flat and the heater doesn’t work. The room was too cold in the winter. There’s no coffee maker or tea pot to make a hot cup of tea in a cold room.

We loved this property. It is only a 6 minute walk from the train station. It is only a couple of minutes away from the Christmas markets. The imperial castle is not very far away. There are lots of dining and shopping options around this hotel. The traditional Franconia restaurants are further up hill. The staff were great and looked after our bags until we could check in. The room was quite spacious, quiet and clean. We would stay again

Great location near food and nightlife
Interesting hotel that appears to be a repurposed older building. You actually have to walk through an alley and a hallway to an elevator that takes you to reception. Nothing wrong with that, it comes with the territory when you're in the heart of the city. Location was great for nightlife/food/etc. Not so hot for parking, but there were a couple of parking garages within 2-3 blocks of the hotel. Breakfast was in the "attic" and was quite delicious, with smiling, helpful staff. We had a room overlooking a main thoroughfare, so there was a little noise outside, just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. Only there for one night but enjoyed wandering the city just a few blocks from the hotel.

Das ist ein besonders schönes Hotel. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Eine bessere Lage konnte ich mir nicht wünschen. Sehr zentral gelegen, Hauptbahnhof liegt nur einige Minuten zu Fuß. Der Weihnachtsmarkt ist sehr leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Trotz der super zentralen Lage habe ich nichts von der Außenwelt mitbekommen. Sehr ruhig, sehr sauber, sehr schön.

清潔でロケーションも良い。中央駅駅から簡単に歩ける。受付に夜も朝もスタッフがいなくて、相談できなかったことが残念。パスワードが分からず結局Wi-Fiが使えなかった。

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach genial…zentral gelegen, Blick auf die Altstadt, durch gute Fenster aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Frühstücksbüffet ist überschaubar aber ausreichend. Ablageflächen im Zimmer sind begrenzt, für einen kurzen Aufenthalt aber i.O. Wir werden dort jederzeit gerne wieder einchecken 👍
