”I chose this place because of the good reviews – and I was happy to notice that it was really good! Nice "boutique type" of hotel in a great spot. And quiet enough to sleep in the upper floors atleast (I was on the 18th floor) even though there are cars driving in Waikiki center. Bed was very good in my taste. The breakfast was good enough because I got plenty of fruits and eggs (I don't eat meat). There is a water refill station in the lobby. Cosmopolitan queen room was nice, and nice city view...

”The location was great and the cafe downstairs was very good for breakfast. However, we didn’t get the room (with 2 beds) that we booked and paid for for the first night as we arrived later in the evening. Had to change rooms in the following morning with quite a lot of hassle and the staff didn’t quite do what they promised upon arrival. Also, we had couple of very big cockroaches in our bathroom that we ended up killing ourselves, which wasn’t nice. Hotel only cleans rooms every 5 days so that...

”We expected a bit more of this hotel. The staff was not very friendly and not flexible at all. They were very strict about not giving the room us before 3pm and not showing any empathy for us who had been awake 24 hours after a flight. The parking was also very expensive, 28$ per night. The location was good and the housekeeping did their job well. However the room was quite outdated and in a need of a proper facelift.”

”En voi suositella. Merinäköala tarkoittaa parkkipaikkanäkymää ja talojen välistä pilkottaa meri. Odotimme aamiaiselle tunnin. Ensin jonotetaan nimi listaan sitten jonotetaan pöydän vapautumista. Muutenkin illallisravintoloihin alueella oli tunnin puolentoista jono”

”Great location and staff!”

”This is a very old hotel. It's not fancy inside and the rooms are very basic. The water pressure is very strong, however, making for a very nice shower experience. There is a coffee shop on the first level that is not too bad. Parking is difficult here because there really is none and you have to valet at about $50 a day.”

”We had a great stay at Romer. It's good value for money. The hotel is in great condition, recently renovated. Room was spacious, bed comfortable, good AC, big bathroom and nice views from the balcony. The pool area is nice and staff extremely friendly. The location might not be the best, but in the end of the day everything is within walking distance on Waikiki so we didn't mind the walk to the beach and restaurants. Can definitelt recommend and looking forward to coming back!”
