This property was suggested to me by my friend, the we booked it last minute. It is old, the lobby needs care. The biggest issue is the ack of shaded areas in the pool or beach areas. It was panic level disappointment. Ppl knew & they designated someone to wake up early to reserve spots. We did not do that, we were their to rest, but that was such a disappointment. What was the point of the trip if we could not be on the water & under shaded area? Personally,I had no sip of alcohol, my diet is restricted. I tipped generously because I appreciate the frontline workers & love Mexican ppl. The frontline people made the experience all worth while, but was not impressed with the resort. Also the pillows were not pillows but accent cushions, low quality & painful to sleep on. For 7 days we could not find a shaded place on the pool, let alot the beach because it was not accessible from the seaweed. The resort has good landscaping and it was safe. We felt safe and welcomed, but the management has to seriously look after the lack of shaded spaces the pillows need to be replaced.
Also what was this lobby about? It has to be more accommodating with some areas to allow people to recharge their phones and rest up and relax while checking in or out. Also the lobby has to have a coffee area. They have to take into account that not everyone is in Mexico for alcohol. Mexican people are hard working, kind, generous, and my feedback is in efforts to help the resort to be better place. Thx
