There weren’t as many people in both HBR and the larger neighboring properties, but there still was a nice amount of activities and entertainment, and the people (some usuals, some new folks) were lovely and good fun. We stayed in the Tropical area and all facilities were easy to access to by pathways or by shuttle. Pools are beautiful and each one has its own all inclusive bar. ”The property is right on the beach! We were unable to get in the water and use a lot of the amenities, like paddle boards, due to the sargassum (which is on every beach in the Riviera Maya). The restaurant staff were very attentive and the breakfast was good. They made us a to go meal on our last day. There is no other choice for meals in the area, so you need a car if you want to eat elsewhere. Taxis were $400-450 Mex pesos for a one way ride to the nearest village. You get 1 bottle of water...

”This boutique resort is the top we've ever been to (it rates very high globally and its for a very good reason). My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there and we were treated like royalty. The staff was amazing, the food was amazing, the place was so beautiful, romantic, exquisite and unique. The beach was lovely and I'm sure to go back soon with our whole family. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, our butler team was very attentive to all of our questions and requests, and the resort was clean and calm.
