The resort is located about an hour from Cancun airport. We dealt with Lomas Hospitality in booking. They are fntstic..on top of everything at the resort including your transportation. Resort staff is amazing…very friendly and beyond helpful. The room at the Suites side was very roomy and comfortable. We thought the swim up room would be fun but honestly we rarely used it. We were on second floor . The pool is directly below all the rooms. This is a PARTY pool. Loud music and games . It made it hard to sit on your balcony and enjoy the afternoon. The music etc was usually over by 5 or so but was really a problem for us. We were able to find a quieter part of the resort at another pool area which was great. There is little beach and the sargassum is thick,thick. They do their best on trying to clear it out but is an endless job. The smell can be quite strong at times. The restaurants are good and the bars pour a good drink. There are a couple of restaurants that do not sell wine by the glass…only bottles at a very high price. Found that to be odd. Sun and pools were wonderful. The Palms side of resort is quieter with most rooms not having ocean view. Enjoy!
