”About scruffy but very clean ”

”Nothing was too much trouble. We were staying as a family 16 of us for our mothers funeral and they were kind and welcoming . Breakfast was great - fabulous to have a gluten free section all of its own. Fridge in room was a great feature. Pity it did not contain fresh milk for tea and coffee. Better for the environment than the little plastic containers - which you need two of for each cup of tea/coffee. The restaurant Food was good - although a little over priced. ”

”A nice room, although showing a lot of wear and tear. Needs a spruce up. Could be a lot more attention to detail as there was cobwebs above the shower and by the door. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy but didn’t stay on too long so wasn’t too annoying. It was very cold in the room went I first went in as the radiator was off. Would be nice if it would be turned on to a low setting prior to my arrival just to take the chill off. Despite these minor negatives I would stay again but...

”Good for a short stay, very basic pub accomodation. Located practically in the middle of nowhere and there's no possibility to go for a walk or a run in the evening. The pub downstairs is good, with reasonably priced food and drinks. Friendly staff. Stayed at the room 12 which at the time of my stay didnd't have any shower! This is unacceptable even temporarily, such room should not be offered at all.”

”Our second stay in two months. We very much like it there. Inside the rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking was good out the front. Pool and sauna quite and relaxing. ”
