”We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time exploring nearby Manchester, Londonderry, and Dorset. ”The property is a nice location and good size. We hoped to check in early as we were attending a wedding - but were told they were short-staffed, so no early check-in; they would leave a key at the front desk. Staff said that they were converting to a retirement village and it was advertised on his website that there was no breakfast, etc but on vrbo site I saw these things. No fire also. Basically cheaper places elsewhere. Wouldn't bother going back and no pleased with false advertisement.”
