Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. ”Huone oli vanhan oloinen, haju tunkkainen, kokolattiamatto vaikutti vanhalta ja siinä oli kaikenlaisia läikkiä. Huone muuten välttävä, mutta kaipaisi remonttia.
Pesuhuone oli remontoitu ja oli tosi siisti.
Hotellin käytävillä myös vanhanaikaisen näköiset kokolattiamatot. Kokonaisuutena välttävä hotelli, mutta en menisi uudelleen.
Hotellin nettisivuilla olevat kuvat antavat huomattavasti siistimmän kuvan hotellista kuin todellisuus, ne on joko photosopattu tai otettu monta vuotta sitten.

”Worst hotel experience I've ever had. First, after checking in I found the previous occupant's socks next to the bed which made me question how well the room had been cleaned.
Then guest in the next room had a party and yelled swear words at frequent intervals, and the party lasted until after midnight. I sent a message to the staff but never got a response. ”Came with car. Parked and checked in. All good, easy and fast. Went up to room. No straight lake view as reserved, lake behind the corner. Went back to to ask about it. Got lake view room. View was awesome. Room was nice size but either not cleaned or done in a hurry. Not really clean. Some medicines found on the floor. Street and train noises could easily be heard. Even on the upper floors. Staff was really nice and helpful. Took our feedback seriously.”
