”The hotel is well located since it is within a walking distance from central SJO. Atmosphere in the hotel is excellent as well as service. Yes - the breakfast could be larger or the pool bigger, but I always assess locations from a price/quality perspective and stress cleanliness and security. And from these points of view, Santo Tomas is a first rate choice. Highly recommended. I would go again. ”

”Great hotel! Very nice, large room, clean, comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, with many choices of hot and cold foods, lots of fruit, and good coffee. The only drawback was road noise from the major highway.”

”Die Anlage ist wunderschön und das Personal ist sehr bestrebt, den Aufenthalt so angenehm als möglich zu gestalten. Die geheizte Pool (Hot Springs) war der Hammer! Das Hotel ist eher abgelegen, jedoch kann man sich gut innerhalb beschäftigen. Parkplätze sind vorhanden und der Eingang wird bewacht. Sehr empfehlenswert!”

”We loved the Paradis Peak villa! Steve and Nancy were wonderful hosts and gave several suggestions on activities available in their area. Loved our visits with the Rottie girls as well, they were a real treat. I would recommend contacting host for better directions than google maps. Roads can be a bit challenging. And did i mention the bird watching! Awesome!!!”

”Ostosten ja nähtävyyksien kannalta hyvin keskeinen sijainti. Mukava, juuri remontoitu hotelli. Pienehköt perushuoneet, erityisesti kylpyhuoneet, mutta siisti yleisilme. Hyvät wifi-yhteydet. Sisäänkäynnin löytäminen haastavaa, joko ostoskeskuksen läpi tai ravintolan läpi, lobby toisessa kerroksessa. Keskustasijainti teki lentokentälle matkustamisesta perjainta iltapäivällä hippasen jännittävää - varaa aikaa!”

”Do yourself a favor and rent this property! The house is absolutely adorable and inspired us to start looking for our dream Costa Rican house. Michael, the caretaker, met us at no one is how are you gonna get in? check-in and the owners ensured we were happy with our stay. Everything was thought out and you had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and we had many early bird visitors that were a treat to watch. ”We stayed here two nights in July and enjoyed our stay. First of all, the customer service is superb! The lady in the reception was super friendly and had great knowledge of the trips and things to do in the area. She also arranged us very good transportation to the Nicaraguan border with few phone calls whereas the guy in the tourist information in the centre of Santa Elena clearly wasn't aware of the proper options.
