”Great beach access for the money! Wright Bros. Monument is 2 blocks away but not walkable-- the highway can't be safely crossed on foot. Also, a car is necessary to get to restaurants and other places of interest, though they are near enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!”
”I picked this place because it was inexpensive, and a convenient place to break for the night. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and clean the place was. It looked like it had just been painted and refreshed. The beds were comfortable. The location was convenient to where I needed to be. If you have a dog there is PLENTY of grass to walk around in. And it was very quiet.”
”We like the quaint, beachy feel of the hotel, and the views from the 2nd and 3rd floor deck of the ocean. It's very walkable to Jennettes pier, stores and restaurants. We have stayed here probably a dozen times over the years.”
”This hotel was a nice find, excellent quality for the price. The building is a bit run down outside, but we were there off-season and it seemed there was a lot of maintenance going on. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. They even served a breakfast, which was adequate. The location is wonderful, right next to the beach!”
”My favorite out of the 3 hotels we've stayed at so far. Clean, safe, the sheets felt luxerious, nice friendly staff, great breakfast (warm cinnamon rolls were delicious). Walls are thin, though, and we had loud families around us. Would stay here again ”
”Room was clean enough, bed comfortable, combination of a/c and room dehumidifier made it rather noisy, but if you turned either one off the room became rather clammy. Overall, it was ok, but not my first choice if staying in Manteo again.”
