”I travel often but, this was my first time booking at an all inclusive adult only resort, unfortunately, the Riu Montego Bay is overrated! If offered room 30 RUN by all means! The room is located directly over the 24 hr sports bar so sleeping is impossible, the view is obstructed, and to top it off the room has ROACHES! When we complained they sent up housekeeping with a can of insect spray and of course on the last day we saw more ROACHES so, now we have to FUMIGATE our luggage before going...

”The facilities in the common areas (e.g., pools, lobby, restaurants, theater, etc.) were in very good condition; however, this is NOT the case for the guest rooms. The guest rooms lacked maintenance. (For example: the shower had only one door, so water splashed all over the floor outside the shower area when showering; the chrome on the bathroom faucets was worn.; one of the electrical outlet covers in the room was loose, and when I unplugged the cell phone chargers, the cover came off, leaving...

”The staff was amazing! Our room was always cared for and the mini bar was full. If there was a question or problem it was solved immediately by using the Riu app. I was a bit disappointed by the noise while on the balcony from machines running at ground level to keep everything going. It the ocean view was perfect! The food, restaurants and pool were great. It is not the largest Riu we have been at, but we had a lovely time. ”

”Overall, my stay was pleasant. The staff was attentive, and the customer service was top-tier. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, the staff still did a great job communicating and making guests feel welcomed. There were a lot of food options to choose from, and the drinks were well balanced. The buffet food was okay, but I found the restaurants to be much better and would recommend making reservations there when possible. The resort has trolleys that drive around every 5–10...
