”This property was amazing! The staff is so wonderful and made our stay extra special. We enjoyed the hot springs and all of the tours at the property. Bryan made any and ALL requests so easy, and Reuben took us on a hike and horse back riding trip and they were perfect. We felt a sense of exploration and relaxation all at times. The town of chachaugua is only a short distance away and had a fantastic little soda with pizza and empanadas, and a ice cream shop that had $1 ice cream… I cannot say...

”Amazing experience. The grounds were so lush and beautiful. The restaurant was also great- fairly priced and quick. Drinks were soooo delicious. Also overlooks the lush trees and even saw monkeys from here!! Another highlight is the staff. Specifically Kenneth in the bar and Isaac at the restaurant. So friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. This is less of a resort feel and more mountain cabin, but still has really great perks like the jacuzzi - we went in every night. Amazing spot!”

”Friendly service. Noisy neighbours disturbed a little because we were very tired and went to bed early. Noisy air conditioner. Earplugs helped a lot. Nice swimming pool, good beds, good breakfast. Good location.”

”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”
