”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ohana Wata. It felt much larger than it's modest size. The bathroom is large and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted and more, including an ice machine. The bedroom was comfortable and looked out onto a deck that overlooked a secluded beach area. We had our choice of private beach chairs, picnic table, chaise lounge, or hammock. The property is at the far northern end of the pedestrian pathway that runs down to the Placencia Pier....

”We loved the location and the hosts. They were helpful and being able to walk down to secret beach was the best. Its a small room but worked for our small family.”

”Very new, clean, and in a tucked away quiet location. The host was incredible, there to welcome us, quick to respond to questions and offer help. The pool was a perfect way to relax after a day of diving. Overall, highly recommended if you want to escape town at night. A few things to help your planning: - yes, TP can be flushed here (but not in all areas of West End)- located 3/4 to 1 mile from many restaurants and dive shops- a two minute walk to a convenience store with snacks, food staples,...

”Our stay at the Dock House was definitely more GLAMPing than camping. We had a great breeze which allowed for us to sleep with the windows open and no mosquito net needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have experienced in Belize. (We have been traveling to Belize for years and typically stay in places under $200/night). We had breakfast both mornings and really enjoyed it! Very peaceful 2 days up north. 10/10 recommend!”

”Loved our stay here, beautiful view of the ocean and it was like a luxury condo in the middle of the jungle. A short ride into the town made it easy to enjoy the local vibe. My only suggestion would be to buy a new hot water (heater for coffee press) because the one there shuts off constantly (early) because the water has a lot of calcium in it and I'd like at least 2 cups (sipping with your morning wake up dip). All told this is a place you can really enjoy. ”

”The house was clean and cozy , and the view was great! However…. Our first time in Costa Rica and when they say dry season, it was way beyond my expectations. The property was very difficult to find but once located, everything was fine. I would stay there again but maybe when things were a bit greener 😅 The caretaker was very kind but a bit busy at times. Very thankful for the Wi-Fi and the a/c upstairs!”
